At Ready Set Rescue, our volunteers are the heart of what we do. Every hour given helps us provide the best possible care to the animals who call our rescue home. By volunteering, you are not only supporting the daily needs of our reptiles and exotics, but also playing a vital role in helping them heal, grow, and eventually find loving forever homes. Your time and effort allow us to continue our mission and we are truly grateful for every helping hand.

Volunteering with us is hands-on and deeply rewarding. Whether you’re caring for animals behind the scenes or assisting at community events, every task makes a difference. Our volunteers help keep our animals happy, healthy, and ready to shine as ambassadors in our educational programs.

Some of the ways volunteers can help include:

• Cleaning reptile and snake enclosures 

• Feeding and watering animals

• Handling and taming animals to increase comfort with people

• Assisting with animal hygiene and welfare needs

• Helping with building and maintenance projects

• Providing transportation assistance for animals and enclosures

• Volunteering at events—whether helping during the event itself or supporting set-up and tear-down

• Social Media posting and updating

• Photo and video taking or professional photography
