Ready Set Rescue
Founded on compassion, education, and ethical animal care, Ready Set Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible placement of animals, reptiles, and exotics in need.
Our story began more than 11 years ago with a single cat in need of help — and quickly grew into rescuing more cats, turtles, ferrets, and a wide variety of other animals.
What started as a small, family-led effort has evolved into a full-scale, multi-species rescue built on experience, teamwork, and passion.
While reptiles became a key focus when Ready Set Rescue was officially established in March 2025, our mission has always included all creatures — great and small — providing each one the safety, care, and second chance they deserve.
Our guiding principle is simple: Any Animal. Any Condition. Anytime.
We believe every animal deserves a fair chance, proper care, and a safe environment to heal and grow.
In addition to rescue and rehabilitation, we are deeply committed to education and community engagement.
Through classroom programs, outreach events, and ambassador exhibits, we help people of all ages learn about animal behavior, husbandry, and conservation — fostering empathy and responsible ownership.
As Ready Set Rescue continues to grow, our goals remain focused on expanding our educational outreach, facility capacity, and community partnerships, ensuring that no animal is left without help or hope.
Together with our volunteers, supporters, and partner organizations, we are building a stronger, more compassionate future for all living creatures.
